Mustard 'Osaka Purple' (Brassica Japonica) - An outstanding mustard of dark green-purple leaves with bright white veins. The large rounded purple leaves of this Japanese mustard are beautiful, pungent and sharp. Both leaves and stems can be pickled, stir-fry, steamed or added to salad. Posses warm, peppery flavour with a slight spicy notes. Hardy, tolerates cold weather. Harvest at 4 to 6 inches for salad or allow it to grow to full size for boiling greens.
